LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch is pleased to announce the return of its popular “Mondays with Mommy” series and continuing partnership with Kindermusik with Kathy & Friends. The 2012 series, "Mondays with Mommy: A Magical, Musical Adventure," will take tots on an educational journey utilizing the world-renowned child-centered music and movement program, Kindermusik.
“Through music, children develop early literacy and language skills, acquire reasoning and early math skills, and increase self control – all while having fun in the process,” says Kindermusik Educator, Kathy Ricke, M. Ed. “I believe strongly in the value of this program and am excited to once again partner with LaCenterra on the ‘Mondays with Mommy’ series.”
The “Mondays with Mommy” series will take place in Heritage Square, LaCenterra’s central courtyard, at 10:00 a.m. on the first Monday of the month unless otherwise noted. It is open to all preschoolers, parents and playgroups. Monthly programs are held weather permitting and include a destination-themed craft project. Attendees will receive a LaCenterra “LaMom Card” which entitles participating parents or guardians to day-of and ongoing “Mondays with Mommy” discounts at select retailers. Program breaks for summer months – June, July and August.
