“Mondays with Mommy: Passport to Fun” Kicks off April 18

KATY, TX (MARCH 17, 2011) — LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch is pleased to announce the return of its popular “Mondays with Mommy” series and partnership with Kindermusik with Kathy & Friends. The 2011 series, "Mondays with Mommy: Passport to Fun," will take tots on an educational journey utilizing the world-renowned child-centered music and movement program, Kindermusik. Events will take place in Heritage Square, weather permitting, and include a destination-themed craft project.

“Mondays with Mommy” is held on the second Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m. unless otherwise noted. The series is designed for preschoolers, parents and playgroups. Program schedule subject to change.

“Through music, children develop early literacy and language skills, acquire reasoning and early math skills, and increase self control – all while having fun in the process,” says program facilitator and Kindermusik Educator, Kathy Ricke, M. Ed. “I believe strongly in the value of this program and am excited to offer it to the community as part of LaCenterra’s ‘Mondays with Mommy’ series.”

Each family will receive 3 CDs of music used in class, 3 family-style magazines, and 3 fun
instruments/props for each child.
